Growth for lawn and landscape companies

Market to the street, not the city.

Landscaping is the one trade where marketing geography decides profitability. Winning the four houses on either side of a property you already service is worth more than winning ten scattered across the county - and it is cheaper. We build the marketing around that fact.

We will tell you what to stop paying for. Even if that is us.

What this is

The channel and measurement layer for landscaping companies: neighborhood saturation, paid ads for design work, door hangers with real tracking, and contract retention.

Who it's for

Landscapers who want denser routes and bigger jobs, not just a longer customer list.

What makes it different

We measure route density and contract value, not raw lead count. Scattered customers make a landscaping business worse.

What it fixes

Crews losing half the day to drive time, one-time cleanups that never convert to contracts, and untracked door hanger spend.

The economics nobody markets around

More customers can genuinely make a landscaping company less profitable.

If they are spread out, you are buying drive time, not revenue. Almost no marketing accounts for this.

01

Leads scattered across the county

A campaign targeting all of Miami-Dade produces customers thirty minutes apart. The crew spends the day in traffic and the margin disappears into fuel and labor hours.

02

Cleanups that never become contracts

A one-time cleanup is a $400 job and a wasted opportunity. Without a follow-up offer, that customer goes back to whoever is cheapest next spring.

03

Door hangers that vanish into faith

Landscaping runs more neighborhood print than almost any trade, and virtually none of it carries a way to tell whether it worked.

What we run

Marketing that makes routes denser and jobs bigger.

Neighborhood saturation

Geofenced ads and print targeted to the streets immediately around properties you already service, where your work is visible from the road.

Trackable door hangers

Each print run gets its own number and code, so you finally learn which communities respond and which are a waste of paper.

Design and hardscape campaigns

Separate budgets targeting the five-figure work, kept away from cheap mowing clicks that would otherwise eat the spend.

Contract conversion follow-up

Automatic sequences that offer recurring service after every one-time job, while the yard still looks transformed.

Commercial and HOA outreach

Targeted campaigns aimed at property managers and HOA boards, where one contract can be worth an entire residential route.

Route-aware reporting

New customers plotted against your existing routes, so you can see whether the marketing is tightening them or stretching them.

the visible-work advantage

Your best advertising is the yard you finished this morning.

Landscaping produces something almost no other trade does: a large, obvious, public transformation that the entire street sees for weeks. The neighbors of every property you service are the warmest prospects you will ever have - they have already seen your work, watched your crew, and quietly compared it to their own yard. Almost nobody markets to them deliberately. A geofenced ad campaign plus a door hanger run around each newly finished property turns that passive visibility into booked estimates, and every customer it wins sits on a street you are already driving to.

  • Geofenced ads around recently completed properties
  • Door hanger runs on the surrounding streets, individually tracked
  • Yard signs on design and hardscape jobs while they look their best
raise the average job

The same customer who wants mowing will spend forty thousand on a backyard.

Maintenance customers are the best prospects for design and hardscape work in existence - they already trust you, you already have access to the property, and you know exactly what the yard needs. Yet most landscaping companies never market to their own list, so the customer books a paver patio with a company they found on Google while paying you two hundred a month to mow. A simple seasonal campaign to existing accounts, showing design work you have completed nearby, consistently produces the highest-margin jobs on the board.

  • Seasonal design offers sent to existing maintenance accounts
  • Nearby project showcases, since neighbors trust local examples
  • Financing framing for the larger renovation projects
seasonal reality

Twelve-month growing season, but the money still moves.

South Florida landscaping never stops, which is an advantage, but demand still shifts across the year and the spend should follow it. Design and hardscape inquiries climb ahead of the winter season when people are entertaining outdoors. Storm cleanup demand arrives with no warning and disappears in three weeks. Maintenance signups spike when growth accelerates in the wet months. A flat budget ignores all of it. We stage campaigns for each of these and shift money as the calendar turns.

  • Storm response campaigns staged in advance, activated in hours
  • Design and hardscape spend weighted toward the entertaining season
  • Maintenance acquisition pushed when growth is heaviest
the compounding side

Ads fill this month. Rankings fill the route for years.

Everything on this page stops when the spending stops. That is a fair trade for immediate contracts, but the landscaping companies with the healthiest routes run paid channels while organic search builds underneath them. A page ranking in a specific community keeps producing customers on that street for years at no cost per lead - and in a route-based business, that is compounding in the most literal sense, because each one makes the stop more efficient.

  • Paid channels for immediate contract volume
  • Neighborhood rankings as the asset that keeps producing
  • Both measured against route density, not just lead count
How we start

Map the routes, then market into them.

1

Free audit

Where your customers are, what you are spending, and what is untracked. Findings are yours regardless.

2

Wire up tracking

Call tracking, form attribution, and codes on every print run. Nothing launches unmeasured.

3

Saturate and separate

Neighborhood campaigns around existing routes, with design work budgeted separately from maintenance.

4

Reallocate monthly

Move money toward the communities and channels producing profitable, close-together work.

FAQ

Landscaping Marketing FAQs

What does landscaping marketing cost?

Flat monthly management plus whatever ad spend you choose, which goes directly to the platforms in your own account. We never take a percentage of spend.

Do door hangers still work for landscaping?

They are one of the better-performing channels in this trade, specifically when run on the streets around a property you just finished. The neighbors have already seen the work. The only real problem is that nobody tracks them, so give each run its own number and code.

Should I advertise across all of Miami-Dade?

Almost certainly not. Scattered customers wreck route economics - you end up paying crews to sit in traffic. Concentrating spend on communities you already serve produces fewer leads that are individually worth far more.

How do I get more design work instead of mowing?

Two things: separate the ad budgets so cheap mowing searches cannot consume them, and market design projects to your existing maintenance list. Those customers already trust you and are the most likely to fund a big renovation.

Can you help with commercial and HOA contracts?

Yes, and they are worth pursuing - one HOA contract can equal an entire residential route. It is a different approach: targeted outreach, proof of crew capacity and insurance, and content aimed at property managers rather than homeowners.

Do we own the ad accounts?

Yes - accounts, data, tracking, and history in your name. If you leave, everything goes with you.
